Mamas, Let’s Meet

Mamas, Let’s Meet

By Tiffany Day

Hi moms, my name is Tiffany, and I am a mom to a beautiful 8 year old girl. I’ve learned that being a mom is hard work. We love our kids unconditionally, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t get stressed or overwhelmed from time to time (or many times). Being a mom is one of the most important roles we’ll ever have, and in order to be effective, we must take care of ourselves.

This blog will be a source for all things motherhood. I will present ideas, tips, and strategies that we can use to manage our lives as moms. I will also facilitate Mama meet ups bi-monthly, beginning April. One of the main purposes for the Mama Meet Ups is the build a community of women who can support one another through the many stages of parenting. I am passionate about helping mothers from all walks of life. Regardless of how old your kids are, I want to see you live your best life! I also want to help you find encouragement with the daily struggles you may be encountering as we develop positive experiences in parenting our kids.

I understand that many of you have more experience in raising children than myself, so the Mama Meet Ups will be very engaging. There will be open dialogue, reflection activities, and discussion questions so we can share our truth with one another. Moms, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts, concerns, and questions in an open, confidential forum. Our meetings will take place at several different locations such as Starbucks, the spa, local parks, etcetera so if you have an idea, bring it to the table!

This blog will feature additional guest writers and focus on:

  • increasing our happiness as moms;
  • creating more calm in our lives through prayer;
  • managing our many responsibilities;
  • helping our kids;
  • creating daily routines;
  • building healthy habits;
  • self-care;
  • managing stress;
  • dealing with anxiety and depression;
  • setting realistic goals and finding accountability;
  • relationship issues;
  • and any other issues related to being a mom.

Let’s choose to be present with a heart of gratitude in every season of life.
