Because you call me friend?

Yes, Lord!

And all while this was going on around me you kept me in perfect peace with your love and power?

Yes, Lord!

I do not fear because His perfect love casts out all fear.

I do not fear because I know that I am in His perfect Will for my life.

I do not fear when the enemy brings up my past.

Why?

Because the enemy will only remind you of your past because he can’t control your future.

So when the voices of fear, worry, doubt and insecurity are near, cast them out because there is no fear in God!

What we have to do is open our hearts to his presence and let his love quiet our hearts.

We can’t have peace if our hearts and minds are agitated – going a hundred miles per hour.

When the enemy whispers fearful reminders…remind him and say, “Satan, you are defeated because Jesus loves me!”

Just worship the Lord God in song, prayer and fasting, and rest in the embracement and peace in the quietness of His love!

Let’s pray…

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for your love that is patient, kind and does not boast. It isn’t proud and it isn’t rude or self-seeking. Your love, Lord Jesus, isn’t easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. The love you have for me, Jesus, doesn’t delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. The love of you, Lord, protects, always trusts, always hopes and always preserves. Lord, thank you that in your love, you quiet our hearts and minds and silence all those confusing voices and sounds of fear, worry, doubt and insecurity. Let the quietness of your love permeate us like never before and rest upon our hearts and minds like boulders. Because you first loved me, I rejoice that I can securely rest in the quietness of your love.

In Jesus’ name, Amen!
